Description

We are a family business.
Alongside beekeeping, we cultivate our olive fields.
We take care of our olive trees with knowledge and passion.
Without chemical products we produce the golden yellow oil.
One of the treasures of Crete for thousands of years.

Thanks to the gentle cold pressing, all vital nutrients and the delicious aroma remain in the oil.
The microclimate and the more than 300 days of sunshine per year are the foundation for this high-quality extra virgin olive oil with a very low acidity of a maximum of 0.5%.
Our Koroneiko olive trees are located in the “Cape Spatha, village Rodopou (altitude 230m). The Koroneiko olive has a high proportion of healthy fatty acids, polyphenols and vitamins (A,D,K,E)

    Olive oil works:

  • As a reduction in” bad” LDL cholesterol and a simultaneous increase in “good” HDL cholesterol.
  • Due to the unsaturated fatty acids they contain, they have a positive effect on the cardiovascular system, cell division and metabolism
  • As a natural antioxidant and stabilizes the cell membrane and makes it less susceptible to free radicals
  • Stimulates the flow of bile, therefore particularly recommended for stomach problems
  • As a mild laxative for constipation (1 tablespoon pure or mixed with lemon juice taken in the evening before going to bed or in the morning on an empty stomach)
  • Particularly worth mentioning are the omega-3 fatty acids, which are among the “good” polyunsaturated fatty acids and are “essential” because our body cannot synthesize them and they must be consumed through food

Omega 3 and its positive properties for the human body:

  • Good for heart health and proven to reduce the risk of blood clots, cardiac arrhythmias and heart attacks
  • Lowering blood pressure
  • Relieve pain and inflammation such as rheumatoid arthritis.

This high-quality olive oil is particularly easy to digest due to its composition. Olive oil can not only be used cold but also for cooking, steaming, baking, roasting and deep-frying.

In Crete, olive oil is not only an integral part of everyday life, it is a source of life!
