Bee therapy

Bee therapy

The first reports of bee therapy were found in ancient Mesopotamia.
Bee therapy belongs to alternative medicine and uses the hive's derivatives (honey, royal jelly, pollen, bee venom, propolis, hive air) in various therapeutic applications. Bee therapy, in a natural way, helps us to overcome many health problems and is excellent for children, athletes and elderly people.

Inhaling the air of the Hive

Bees use propolis to sterilize their space. The hive, the bee’s home, is free of viruses, bacteria , pathogens . Inhaling the air of the hive, through a special respiratory mask, substances with a strong therapeutic effect are introduced into the body which are extremely beneficial to human health. The air inside the hive helps people in the treatment of the following conditions:

  • Bronchitis
  • Asthma
  • Infections
  • Weak immune system
  • Infections of the respiratory system
  • Headaches, Migraines
  • Stress
  • Depression

Bee therapy as a therapeutic practice uses the properties of honey, propolis, pollen, royal jelly, poison, hive air and utilizes them as such or in combination either with each other or with other natural substances of similar value, such as essential oils of plants. It has many applications. It is a holistic approach to human health and physical and mental well-being.

It is of course very important to emphasize that the bee derivatives as well as the inhalation of the air of the hive are not medicines, nor are they a substitute for the specific medicines of classical or homeopathic medicine. They work in parallel with them and their rational use can improve the effectiveness of medicines and reduce their possible side effects
