About Us

We are a rural family of beekeepers in second generation, with a history of more than 50 years.
We keep approx 250 beehives. Our production is limited and aims at quality over quantity. In an average year, our production reaches ca. 15 kg per beehive. We are nomads, approx seven times per year, we bring our bees to different places on Crete. Our honey-production is primarily based on honey made from Thyme, Orange-flowers, Pine and Blossoms.

A MAGICAL WORLD

In parallel, we own ca. 500 olive trees. From its fruit, we produce extra virgin olive oil, standardize and sell it. Our guiding principle is the love for bees and nature as well as the quality of our products and the respect towards the bee and its world.

The principles of organic beekeeping and the ethics in production characterize us. Our goals are the zero environmental footprint, the high standards in production and the respect towards the consumer.

At a tastefully designed place, we have created a standardization plant for honey, according to the highest European quality standards.

We want to give you an understanding of the harmony, quiet and magic that prevail in a beehive. You will learn about the basics of beekeeping as well as many tools needed for that purpose of a beekeeping that has existed in our region for more than 3500 years.

When opening one of our products at home, you will smell the scent of Crete, feel the wind caressing you, and feel close to the beautiful, mountainous island of Crete.
